Caravan "Pilgrims", July 18, 2001, Mogilev

Cultural and educational caravan "Pilgrims", July 18, 2001, Mogilev, Ice Palace, club "Iceberg".
The scale of this mega-action with the participation of Belarusian rock bands (in other words, a month-long rock festival) is very impressive even today, twenty years after it holding. The "rock pilgrim caravan" on a certain number of festival buses traveled about three dozen cities in a month, almost the entire country from north to south and from east to west. In addition, on the way, not disregarding the villages, towns, stations, central estates, etc., where acoustic concerts were often held during stops. Two routes remained in the legend , which went either parallel or perpendicular, and eventually crossed first in Minsk, and then at the final concert in Brest.
In all cities local bands joined the rock pilgrims for at least one concert. But, after the speech, on the most democratic basis, any group could continue with caravan and take part in all _cc781905-5cde-3194-bb3b -136bad5cf58d_following concerts announced along the route. Or choose for yourself a certain segment of the tour (based, for example, on the availability of free time for musicians or the desire to perform in specifically designated cities). It was only necessary to write something like a statement and indicate how many people are added, and by what route.
All participants were provided with accommodation in local hotels and food at catering points in any city. The journey, as already mentioned, was carried out on half a dozen buses on each of the route lines of the "Pilgrim" caravan. Upon the arrival of the musicians, local organizers in each city, according to pre-agreed agreements, exhibited a large stage set of equipment, and the musicians took the rest of the necessary minimum of instruments and equipment with them.
White Night Blues performed only in Mogilev. It was, in fact, the third performance of the group in the new line-up. Little by little they began to sound, finding their original sound, they became more confident in playing, despite the almost complete absence of rehearsals lately. In the Mogilev club "Iceberg" performed well in general.
works.
Nevertheless, the caravan set off on its journey, leaving many fond memories of itself. Some materials remain, but no photographs - perhaps someone filmed these concerts, but no pictures have been preserved in the group's archive.

The motto of the Pilgrims.

A few words about movement.

The participants of the Mogilev concert, after many years, could not clarify the question of the date of arrival of the "pilgrims" in their native city. It seems that the truth was somewhere nearby - despite the date stated on the posters of July 17, perhaps the concert took place the next day.
This computer announcement does not mention one group that performed in Mogilev - Jizel's Band, apparently falling into the category "and others ...". The announcement itself was made against the backdrop of an application from the directorate of Caravan, who mysteriously came to the name of Yu. A. Romanov, the most underground Belarusian editor of the most samizdat Mogilev publications associated with the informal rock music of the former USSR and the post-Soviet space.
Yuri Albertovich then officially worked in the editorial office of Vesnik Magilov, where an article about the Pilgrim Caravan in the city soon appeared, which can be read below.
