Since 2002, it was decided to move part of the White Night Blues author's repertoire to a new project called Nestary Band. According to the members of the group, as well as the leader and creator of both groups, Yuri Nesterenko, the repertoire program originally created and owned by WNB was quite solid.

But metropolitan music critics, journalists from some domestic music publications, and after them the administrators of music clubs approached the creative potential of the young group quite straightforwardly: they say, since the name of the group contains the word "blues", then the program should be made from classic blues or rhythm end blues. No “elements”, “stylizations”, “mixing of border styles”, “experiments with a literary component”, etc.

    In general, due to such a misunderstanding, we had to meet respected musicologists, guardians of blues traditions and champions of style purity. At first, the musicians in the two groups played almost the same, and the repertoire was borrowed on parity terms. In general, at first it was difficult for the participants themselves to decide in which group they play today.

    However, over time, everything was put in a certain order - the White Night Blues group began to use more characteristic blues musical material, and the Nestary Band, respectively, from the blues, if possible, he distanced himself, leaving in the repertoire anything but blues compositions (acoustic jazzy ballads, rock and roll mainstream, experiments with funky metal, etc.)

In this regard, at rock events in 2002, 2003 and 2004, the heroes of our story performed more under the Nestary Band brand.  

    The first major blues festival, where the White Night Blues group reappeared, was Blues Lives in Minsk, which took place on November 16, 2005 in the capital's concert hall Minsk ". Its organizer was Gennady Starikov, head of the famous capital's "Star-Club". Starikov attracted cult Belarusian and foreign musicians to participate in his grandiose blues show: Arkady Eskin, Vladimir Ugolnik, Leonid Verenich, Apple Tea, Madera Hard Blues, Blues Street Friends, and the legendary Nikolai was invited as a headliner Arutyunov (“League of Blues”, “Thursday Arutyunov”, “Funky Soul”), who played in Minsk accompanied by “The Blues Barbarians” (musicians of the Krama group in full force + guitarist Leonid Verenich).

    For the White Night Blues band, this performance became significant not so much because of the status tick in the form of presence on a par with the masters, but because of the opportunity to acquire an invaluable experience in the form of communication with real masters of their craft. The second was much more important.
